What is TrainHeroic?
TrainHeroic is a fitness tracker app. One of our coaches program workouts through the app and the athlete is able to view their workout of the day. Exercise videos, reps, sets, percentages, and rest are all programmed by the coach depending on the athlete’s goals. The athlete then opens the TrainHeroic app and completes their workout while logging their progress along the way.
Do I have to pay for TrainHeroic?
No, your membership automatically gives you access to TrainHeroic. After purchasing a membership and downloading the app, one of our coaches will send you a code to the email you provided. This code allows you access to the services you purchased utilizing TrainHeroic.
I do not wish to purchase a monthly membership. Can I buy a 1 time program?
Absolutely! We encourage all of our athletes to participate in our monthly memberships in order to see the best results but if you do not wish to utilize this service we offer one time plans for purchase. Plans are specific to the client’s goals. Popular plans include increase in strength and hypertrophy, weightloss or weight management, military prep courses, and weightlifting programs. These programs are not individualized. Programs are offered through our TrainHeroic marketplace page.

How long do I have access to a program that I purchased?
Programs through our TrainHeroic marketplace page are available for 1 year from the purchase date. You have unlimited access for the year and can restart or move the “start date” of the program at anytime. You can not change the purchase date.

Do you offer in-person personal training?
Yes! If you are in the Richmond area then we can provide in-person training. Please visit our in-person training page or contact us for more information and to setup an initial consultation to discuss your goals.
What is the difference between individual and team monthly memberships?
Individual memberships are strictly 1-on-1 coaching through TrainHeroic. We design a completely individualized training program based on your goals, time, training age and history. More detailed services are available for individual memberships than team memberships.
Team memberships are for anyone who wishes to have a sense of community while they workout. Team members have access to the specific team page on TrainHeroic . This option works great for friends who have different schedules but still want to workout together. You can also message other team members privately or post on the message board to allow everyone, including the coach, to see your thoughts about the WOD or encourage others to get after it!
FAQs
I already have a gym membership at my local gym is that okay?
Yes! The vast majority of our clients have monthly memberships to a separate fitness facility. Our personal training will always be based upon what you have to work with. Wether you have no equipment at all or if you have access to your local gym we will be able to work with you either way.
What equipment is needed to complete the workouts?
We design workouts based on your available equipment. If you do not have any equipment available we can customize your program to be mostly bodyweight and odd object based. Common equipment used in most workouts are a barbell, free weights, and a dumbbell or kettlebell. The more equipment you have available, the more creative we can be! Workouts can be performed at home or in a gym.
